Terms of Service

Last updated: October 1, 2026

Article 1 (Application)

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") set out the conditions for using SitePrinter for iOS (the "App"). By using the App, you (the "User") agree to be bound by these Terms.

Article 2 (Definitions)

The terms used in these Terms are defined as follows.

  • "Service" refers collectively to the services provided through the App.
  • "User" refers to any individual or legal entity that uses the App.
  • "Content" refers to PDF files, full-length images, and other data that a User creates, converts, or saves within the App.

Article 3 (Use of the App)

3.1 Eligibility

The App is available to users with an iPhone or iPad running iOS 17 or later, as well as Apple Silicon Macs (where the App runs as a "Designed for iPad" app).

3.2 Accounts

No user account creation is required to use the App. All functionality is completed entirely on-device.

3.3 Fees

The App is free to download and includes 10 free credits, each good for one PDF conversion. For additional conversions, you may choose one of the following:

  • Subscription ($2.99/month): unlimited conversions
  • Extra credits ($0.99 per 10 credits): purchase whenever you need them

A subscription is active on any device signed in with the same Apple ID used at the time of purchase, including iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Extra credits, however, are only valid on the device where they were purchased and are not shared across devices. Please keep this in mind when choosing a plan.

3.4 Service Limitations

The App provides a service for capturing screenshots of websites and converting them into PDFs, subject to the following limitations:

  • You can browse and capture pages that require login using the App's built-in browser. However, due to a website's technical specifications (such as restrictions on JavaScript execution or the timing of dynamic content loading), a screenshot may occasionally fail to capture correctly.
  • Depending on a website's structure or settings, a page may not display exactly as intended.

3.5 Other Features

In addition to webpage capture, the App provides the following features:

  • Selecting images saved in your Photos (camera roll) and joining them into a PDF. This requires permission to access your photo library.
  • Joining a screen recording you select into one tall image and creating a PDF from it. Recordings must be 3 minutes or shorter, and the joined image must be no taller than 250,000px.
  • Receiving a URL from Safari's or another app's share menu and opening it in the App's built-in browser.

Article 4 (Prohibited Conduct)

When using the App, Users must not engage in any of the following:

  • Acts that violate applicable laws or public order and morals
  • Acts that may interfere with the operation of the App
  • Acts that infringe on the intellectual property rights, portrait rights, privacy, reputation, or other rights or interests of other Users or third parties
  • Using the App for unlawful purposes
  • Using the App to record or save content from other apps, websites, or services in violation of their terms that prohibit screen recording or saving
  • Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling the App
  • Any other conduct we deem inappropriate

Article 5 (Intellectual Property Rights)

All intellectual property rights related to the App and the Service belong to us or to those who have licensed such rights to us. Intellectual property rights in Content created by a User through the App belong to that User.

Article 6 (Privacy)

The handling of Users' personal information in the App is governed separately by our Privacy Policy. All capture and PDF generation processing is performed entirely on-device, and Content such as PDFs or images that a User creates or saves is never sent to our servers (this excludes communication necessary for functionality, such as loading a webpage you visit or fetching a site icon).

Article 7 (Changes to or Termination of the Service)

We may change, add to, or discontinue all or part of the Service without prior notice to Users. We are not liable for any damages a User incurs as a result.

Article 8 (Disclaimer)

  1. We make no express or implied warranty that the Service is free of factual or legal defects (including defects, errors, or bugs related to safety, reliability, accuracy, completeness, validity, fitness for a particular purpose, or security, as well as infringement of rights).
  2. We are not liable for any damages a User incurs arising from the Service.
  3. We do not guarantee the quality or accuracy of any PDF a User converts through the App.
  4. We do not guarantee that a screenshot can be successfully captured on every website. Due to a website's technical specifications or settings, some websites may not be captured correctly, and we bear no responsibility in such cases.
  5. When joining screen recordings or images automatically, content may be missing or duplicated, or seams may be misaligned, depending on scrolling speed and on-screen content. Some content, such as copy-protected video, cannot be screen-recorded. We bear no responsibility in such cases.

Article 9 (Subscriptions and Billing)

9.1 Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled.

9.2 Cancellation

You can cancel a subscription from your App Store account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

9.3 Refunds

Refunds for purchases are handled in accordance with Apple's refund policy.

Article 10 (Changes to These Terms)

We may modify these Terms at any time without notice to Users, when we deem it necessary. Any modified Terms take effect once posted within the App or on our website.
